Biophilic design isn’t a trend, it’s course correction. Bringing the outside in through light, materials, plants, and views of nature isn’t just beautiful. It regulates our bodies.

Your home should help your body remember what it’s built for.

Open concept kitchens aren’t for everyone. Open concepts were sold to us as modern and light-filled but they weren’t designed with neurotypical brains in mind, leaving the rest of us behind. You don’t have to accept this reality, with good and intentional design we can improve how you experience your kitchen and living areas.

Your bathroom sets the tone for your day more than you’d think.

Clutter. Bad lighting. Fixtures that feel stuck in the past. Every one of these little things adds stress every time you walk in.

Good design isn’t just about creating a beautiful space. It’s about how a space makes you feel as you live in it.

Ready to improve your bathroom? We can help with that. Start today with a discovery call - link in our story.

We just got approved. Here’s what that actually means...

It means all of the construction plans, furniture sourcing, and dreams we’ve been creating for your space can now move forward. The design is complete; now we start taking action. Come along with us for the Swansboro Lane series - where we show you behind the scenes of a real project.

Your home shouldn’t make your nervous system work harder.

Do you often walk into your home and feel more stressed? That’s not a you problem. That’s a design problem.

Hi, I’m Rima Nasser and I have a masters degree in interior design. One of my firm specialties is in neurodivergent-informed design, and my philosophy is simple: your space should help you live your life better, not fight against you.

When a space has no natural light, the instinct is often to play it safe and keep things white, neutral, and safe. We did the opposite.

For a downtown Raleigh condo with little natural light in the kitchen and laundry, we went with navy cabinetry, rust ceramic tile, and warm brass hardware. And it’s the warmest, most alive the space has ever felt.

White without natural light doesn’t read bright and airy. It reads gray and flat. Deep color, paired with the right lighting and reflective finishes? That’s what gives a room somewhere to land.

See the full breakdown of how we did it on the blog, linked in our story.
