SABER
Want to say something impactful about this paint and it's origin, this is the place to do it - this is an example of what a user would get when they click on the stains from the hub page or the side bar that is on the internal subpages.
At TEW Design Studio, we believe the best design doesn’t only look good–it solves problems.
That mindset sparked the creation of TEWlines: our custom-designed furniture line, crafted with care right here in North Carolina.
When the pandemic disrupted global supply chains, sourcing high-quality furniture became a serious challenge. Instead of waiting months for overseas shipments–or compromising on quality–we decided to take matters into our own hands. TEWlines was born as a solution: local, sustainable, and designed with purpose.
Today, with rising tariffs once again impacting furniture imports, TEWlines is more relevant than ever. Our line offers clients thoughtfully designed pieces without the wait, carbon footprint, or unpredictability of overseas manufacturing.
Crafted from Hempwood and hand-crafted in Wake Forest, NC, every TEWlines piece supports local industry and a more sustainably future. It’s design with meaning–at every level.
Here’s what that means to us:
TEWlines brings together smart design, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to conscious living.
Each collection was created to solve real needs for real clients–whether it was a size challenge, a design gap, or the desire for something simply didn’t exist yet.

The A//C Collection was the first fully realized TEWlines collection–and it set the tone for everything that followed.
Born from a collaboration with two incredible clients, Alyson and Carey, the A//C Collection embodies clean modernism, thoughtful craftsmanship, and sustainability. Alyson and Carey’s openness to creative exploration gave Rima the confidence to propose something deeply personal: designing a bedroom set exclusively for them.
Their appreciation for meaningful design and earth-friendly materials shaped the pieces, which included a streamlined floating nightstand and a chest of drawers. Each item reflects their trust in the creative process – a rare and beautiful gift in itself.
Naming the collection A//C was our way of honoring that connection. It’s a reminder that the best designs come from mutual respect, a shared vision, and a willingness to build something new together.
Multi-Drawer Dresser & Sidetable
The F//P Collection looks backward and forward at the same time. Rooted in Rima’s personal heritage, this piece was inspired by the traditional woven stools of the Levant–designs known for their beautiful interplay of structure, material, and texture.
Rather than simply replicate the old, Rima reimagined it for today’s homes. The F//P design emphasizes the natural beauty of hempwood through careful grain positioning, creating visual rhythm and warmth with a minimalist hand. It’s a study in balance: honoring generations of craftsmanship while creating something entirely new.
In every curve and joinery choice, the F//P Collection pays tribute to tradition–not by repeating the past, but by carrying it forward thoughtfully.
Coffee Table
The W//N Collection started, as so many great designs do, with a practical need: a desk that would actually fit a small space.
Catalog after catalog came up short. So we designed one ourselves–a bar-height console table with distinctive legs and playful color combinations that made the piece feel joyful, personal, and right.
What began as a one-off became a collection celebrating that same spirit: adaptability, creativity, and joy in everyday living. The name W//N honors Rima’s brother Wasim, whose inventive energy and support helped shape the studio’s path.
W//N reminds us that solving small problems with care often leads to bigger breakthroughs.
Console Table
Our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop at form–it extends into every finish.
The TEWlines palette of four paints and four stains was curated with deep intention. Each was selected for its durability, beauty, and ability to enhance hempwood’s rich natural texture.
Every color tells a story, rooted in nature, memory, and the world around us.
A silvery green inspired by Palestinian “Meramiyyeh,” cherished for its healing properties and deep cultural significance. This shade reflects the delicate leaves that thrive in Palestine’s rugged hills, symbolizing a timeless connection to the land. Calming and grounding, Sage brings a touch of nature’s wisdom and serenity into each space.
A soft blush inspired by the fruit of the cactus. This gentle hue reflects endurance and patience, much like the resilient plant itself. Saber brings a touch of warmth and subtle elegance to any space, evoking a sense of quiet strength and beauty.
A moody blue inspired by the Mediterranean Sea, capturing the essence of a city shaped by history and cultural diversity. Once a bustling hub of trade, Haifa now stands as a symbol of resilience and nostalgia. Its muted tones echo the quiet strength of the sea, bringing depth and character to any space.
A deep, charcoal hue inspired by the traditional clay oven used to bake taboon bread. This rich, earthy shade evokes warmth and nostalgia, capturing the essence of gathering and tradition. Taboon adds depth and sophistication to any space, grounding it with a sense of history and comfort.
While our paints were chosen to bring vibrant energy and personality to TEWlines pieces, we also wanted to honor the natural beauty of the materials themselves.
That’s where our stains come in. Each stain was carefully selected to enhance the organic textures of wood, celebrating its character rather than covering it. These finishes tell a quieter story–one rooted in nature, subtlety, and timelessness.
Soft and airy, this pale shade is inspired by sunlit wheat fields that have sustained generations. Its subtle warmth evokes open landscapes and the rhythmic cycle of harvest, bringing a sense of lightness and organic simplicity to any space. A timeless nod to tradition, Wheat embodies quiet beauty and enduring connection to the land.
Grounded and enduring, this rich, earthen tone draws from the ancient city of Jericho, where civilizations have thrived for millennia. Echoing sunbaked stone and desert landscapes, its warm neutrality adds depth and balance to a space. Jericho speaks to resilience, heritage, and the natural beauty of timeworn foundations.
Deep and dynamic, this striking wood tone is inspired by fire’s elemental energy—symbolizing both creation and transformation. Its ashy undertones reflect the smoldering embers of a hearth, where warmth and resilience coexist. Bold yet refined, Narre brings a grounding intensity, making a statement that is both strong and sophisticated.
Dark and mysterious, this nearly black shade is inspired by the night sky—vast, infinite, and full of quiet wonder. Like the deep stillness of midnight, Laila exudes elegance and depth, while its celestial undertones evoke a sense of guidance and connection. Both grounding and expansive, this shade captures the beauty of the unseen and the timeless pull of the stars.
Today’s furniture market demands better answers. Overseas shipping delays. Rising tariffs. Questionable materials. Short-lived trends.
