Supporting the Carolina Hurricanes spotlight of Black Excellence

The TEWcrew is partnering with the Carolina Hurricanes to celebrate Black History Month. Throughout February, the Community Spotlight at Hurricanes hockey games is brought to you by TEW Design Studio and highlights talented North Carolina leaders such as artist Mike Jones, designer of the team’s first Black Excellence jersey. Proceeds from merchandise sales benefit Raleigh charities.

Also being recognized this month is Book Harvest, a non-profit in Durham working to transform children’s literacy. The Hurricanes are hosting a Virtual Book Drive on behalf of Book Harvest through Feb. 19, 2024. Stay tuned as we’ll share all the other community stewards being showcased this month. We love recognizing those in our community making a big impact!
