SABER
Want to say something impactful about this paint and it's origin, this is the place to do it - this is an example of what a user would get when they click on the stains from the hub page or the side bar that is on the internal subpages.
For this Raleigh, NC home, our client wanted a first floor that felt warm, open, and intentional–with room for bold color and lots of personality. TEW Design Studio honored the home’s original architecture while thoughtfully reworking the flow to create a cohesive and vibrant living space. Interior designer Frances Acevedo layered modern lines, sculptural art, and soft contrast to create a space that’s both expressive and effortlessly livable.
Location: Raleigh, NC
Scope: Living Room, Dining Room, Entryway + Kitchen
Style: Clean, Artistic, Bold – A mix of modern lines, subtle contrast, and color-forward artwork

Before the redesign, the home felt closed off and disjointed. The kitchen, living, and dining areas were separated by walls and awkward layout choices that blocked natural light and made the first floor feel darker and less inviting. Storage was limited and not very functional, which added to the cluttered feel.
The homeowners wanted spaces that felt open, bright, and easy to live in — nothing overly fancy, just a layout that made sense for daily family life. Their priorities were better flow between rooms, more natural light, and practical storage that fit their routines.
The redesign opened up the first floor, creating a natural flow between the kitchen, living, and dining areas. Warm, modern colors — deep greens, soft grays, and natural wood tones — make the space feel cozy yet contemporary. Thoughtful storage solutions keep clutter hidden, while design details like a green accent wall, globe pendant lights, and mixed metal finishes add personality and style. Overall, the updates make the home brighter, more functional, and inviting.
TEW Design Studio transformed this Raleigh home with a thoughtful mix of style, function, and personality. Every element was curated to enhance daily living while creating visually engaging spaces.
