Elevate Your Space

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton (KTS)

TEW Design Studio partnered with Raleigh law office, Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton (KTS), to reimagine their communal breakroom and servery as part of a larger effort to align the firm’s environment with its refreshed brand identity. The goal was to move away from a dated, utilitarian space toward one that feels bright, balanced, and reflective of the firm’s collaborative culture.

Through the use of warm finishes, cohesive cabinetry, and natural textures, the space now invites both comfort and connection. The transformation embodies the firm’s renewed approach to workplace design, where professionalism meets warmth, and culture comes to life through thoughtful details.

Location: Raleigh, NC
Scope: Communal Break Room, Refreshment Area, Event Hub
Style: Elevated & Inviting Corporate

Design Highlights

  • A Kitchen that Works as Hard as the Team – The refreshed kitchen area balances durability with design. We selected Dekton countertops (a mix of quartz, glass, and porcelain) for their strength and sleek appearance, finished with a waterfall edge island that anchors the space. A textured tile backsplash adds subtle movement and warmth, softening the overall look while maintaining a polished, professional tone.
  • Dining Area that Encourages Connection – The dining area became the hub of the new design, a place where employees can gather, share, and recharge. We introduced an organizational system that keeps essentials close at hand while maintaining a clean, airy feel. Light organic textures and communal dining tables create a natural flow between the kitchen and seating area, promoting collaboration in a relaxed setting.
  • Lighting that Lifts the Mood – The original lighting left the room feeling flat and fatigued. By rethinking the placement and tone of each fixture, we brought warmth and brightness back into the space. The balanced illumination now enhances the neutral palette and highlights key design details, creating an atmosphere that feels energized yet calm, a subtle nod to the firm’s focus on both productivity and well-being.
