Remodeling mid-century homes is not for the timid. Oftentimes, residences from the 1950’s have attractive, if not quirky, features that allow for a streamlined appearance. Though, cramped configurations and disconnected rooms can be the norm with these original designs, as was the case with this residence in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Our resulting kitchen remodel reconfigured the space to offer more functionality, improved natural lighting and greater flow between rooms.
